Server Manager Stopped working error RRS feed

  • I've Windows server 2012 R2 standard installed.

    I'm getting ' Server Manager Stopped working error ' every time i click on manage or view or add role in server manager.

    Please help

    so server is: 2012 R2 standard.

    - what is the server role exactly?

    - what is level of .Net frame work currently installed on this server?

    - did you try installing a role or feature through powershell? do you get any error there?

    - in addition to event viewer logs would you check CBS log ?

    these are the first things to start off and from there we can take it to next step
