Question

I wanted to restore my PC back to a restore point but when I tried to I got the error
File is corrupted or unreadable 0x80070570 then I clicked run and I got another error called catastrophic failure ( 0x8000FFFF)
What can I do to resolve this error and restore to a restore point?
I get the error no matter what restore point I restore to.Saturday, May 7, 2011 12:44 AM

Press F8 when the computer boots, after the BIOS and before Windows 7 starts. Select the repair option and try a restore.
or
Boot from the Windows 7 installation dvd and select the repair option after language page. Then try a restore.

I Just restored to factory settings seeing how microsoft soulotions that I looked up did not work something has gone wrong deep inside a bunch of system files and it would be best to restore to factory settings like I am now and re install everyything.
The downside is it will take about 8 hours :(
