Changing data connection of chart

Hi,

I have a dashboard with different charts etc. Would like to duplicate it but have it use a different data connection.

Do I have to built the dashboard parts all over? Or how do I change the data connection of each chart?

If these are analytical charts and grids then yes, you will need to recreate. It is a pain and I wish it was different, but has been this way since the initial release of the product in PPS 2007.

There are custom ways you could possibly get around this, but it would probably be faster to recreate. You could look at using deployment scripting tools as a workaround - http://ppscd.codeplex.com/
