  • Hi,

Send Timesheet will send your timesheet to Timesheet Manager for approval. With SEM enabled, it will additionally send all Status Updates to appropriate PMs.

For Send Status, there are different meanings, also depending on SEM:

    • SEM enabled: updates will be sent to project manager as Status Updates.
    • SEM disabled: updates will be sent to PM as timesheet line updates - NOT Status Updates. In Server Settings - Timesheet Settings and Defaults , you can define if a Timesheet Line approval by PM is required, before a Timesheet Manager can approve timesheet. I am only not sure about one setting: if I disable "Task Status Manager Approval", I expected this button to be disabled. However, I can still use it but I can't find this approval line anywhere. So this disable seems to stop timesheet line to appear in Approval Center, but let you send it.

If you want to test these setting, remember that they only apply to timesheets created after changing any of them.
