  • Question

  • Hi,

    Since last week most of our client seem like not able getting the 2nd Tuesday Oct patches from the wsus server. From the wsus server the client computer last status report still stucked at 12/10/16 and 13/10/16. We need some help to check whether the issue from PC or from wsus server. From client side  log as below :-

  • Hi YS leong,

    1. What is the version of your WSUS server, I notice you didn't append port number in WSUS URL, do you use WSUS 3.0?

    If it's not the latest version, please upgrade your WSUS server:

    WSUS 3.0 (SP2): Build 3.2.7600.226
    WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2720211: Build 3.2.7600.251
    WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2734608: Build 3.2.7600.256
    WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2828185: Build 3.2.7600.262
    WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2938066: Build 3.2.7600.274

    2. What are the OS of WSUS clients?

    3. Try resetting windows update components:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058

    Then run wuauclt /detectnow in cmd;

    4. On the WSUS server, also re-index WSUS database:

    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/6f8cde49-5c52-4abd-9820-f1d270ddea61

    Best Regards,
