  • Press  CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to restart Explorer.exe.

    If it fails:

    Open PowerShell with administrative privileges and type or paste in.

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    You may also try:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    If the above recommendations do not help, please check if the same issue occur when log in with a different user account. If the issue was gone when logged in the a different user account, your current user profile could be already corrupted.
