how to add google translater extension to internet explorer 11 RRS feed

  • Hi,

please repost to support.google.com. The google translator accelerator for Internet Explorer is not available from the IE Addons Gallery. Google support may know when you can go to install their addon for IE. I tried a web search but could not find any websites where you can install it from.

To manage your installed Accelerator extensions in IE go Tools>Manage Addons>Accelerators... possibly(if you have installed the Google toolbar) you may already have it installed but have it disabled.

The Bing translator is automatically installed on all versions of IE. Have your tried using it instead? (right click on a web page or text selection to display the context menu.... enabled accelerator extensions are listed in the context menu.)

    Regards.

  • Hi,

The new security update broke the translator. If you delete KB3058515 this will fix the problem. But now we have to figure out how to make it work with the update since users will not delete there security updates.

An alternative is the Microsoft Bing translator http://www.microsoft.com/translator/getstarted.aspx.
