Windows is not updating correctly RRS feed

  • Recently, windows has been getting an error when updating. The errors are the following:

    There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081444) - Error 0x80004005

    Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081441) - Error 0x8007000d

    I've made attempts to retry the downloads, but they keep spitting out the same errors. Please advise on how to update the computer correctly or where I can go to download the latest windows 10 updates.

  • are you using wsus?

    include the portion of the c:\windows\windowsupdate.log file where the update failures are being encountered

    Please try to check the CBS log. It may give some hints.

    The default location of CBS log is C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\
