Win 7 Pro with Synology Disk Station D1515+ => Network Error Code 0x80070035 => Windows cannot access

    Question

  • Hi my friends

Everything was working well until the company changed the ISP from Frontier to Spectrum. All computers could be connected to sinology disk station d1515+. Now two computers can not connect to sinology disk station. (Network Error Code 0x80070035). I have tried the following solution:

    1) I can see sinology disk station under NETWORK. I can ping it and it respond.

    2) Network discovery is turned "on"

    3) I have removed "Antivirus Software"

    4) I have enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP

    5) I deactivate "Firewall (off)" at a moment

    6) I can access "sinology disk station" via Internet Explorer 11

Please if anyone can tell me what to do?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

How did you access disk station, through IP address or map a driver?

If you are using a mapped driver, delete it and try to re-map it.

Try to check the symptom by access IP address.

Try to run the following command as administrator to disable SMB 2.0 and SMB 3.0 on Windows 7 client and disk station to force them to use SMB 1.0.

    sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi

    sc.exe config mrxsmb20 start= disabled

    Best regards,

    Joy.

Try to check the symptom by access IP address.

1.1) If I click in "start"
    1.2) Next click in "Computer"
    1.3) Next click in "Network"
1.4) I will find 5 section "Computer", "Media Device", "Network Infrastructure", "Other Device", and "Storage"
1.5) I can see sinology disk station d1515+ on Computer Section, but when I try to access the disk station give me the error message and I can not access it
1.6) I can see sinology disk station d1515+ on Storage Section and Media Device. When I try to access it, Internet Explorer open the device on webpage

    2) Try to run the following command as administrator to  disable SMB 2.0 and SMB 3.0 on Windows 7 client and disk station to force them to use SMB 1.0.
    sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi

2.1) After I did that, I could no longer see disk station in any section
