Data Protection Manager 2010 installation problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I had tried to do a new installation of Data Protection Manager 2010, but Received the following error during the Perequuisites checking.

    Setup has detected that the installation of reporting services is not correctly configured or no instance of Reporting Services is linked to MSDPM2010 of SQL Server. 1)To use the local dedicated MSDPM2010 instance with DPM, unstall SQL Server and run setup again. 2) To use the option of installing DPM with an existing instance of SQL Server. make sure that the Reporting Services instance is also installed and linked correctly. For details, refer to DPM Setup.

    My Server detail;

    Installed Software

    Server 2008 R2

    SQL 2008 R2 Standard

    Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010

    Microsoft SharePoint 2010

    Team Foundation Server 2010 is connected with report server, and operating normally????

    I have no idea what happen in reporting service.....

    Thanks

  • Hi Ivan,

    Did you try to install DPM in this server with Sharepoint application already on it ?

    DPM is designed to run on a dedicated, single-purpose server.
