Custom field from output of PowerShell script

Question

Is there any chance there will be an update to BGInfo to support using the output from a PowerShell script for a custom field instead of VB Script?

I know it's not the same thing, but send the output of the powershell script to a file and load the file content..

How would you refresh the information when BGInfo refreshes its information?
I agree with WardJ in that BGInfo needs to be brought up to date and add support for PowerShell.

Yeah that would work to a degree but the script would need to be triggered outside of BGInfo.Monday, October 21, 2019 4:25 AM

you can have a script that perform both the powershell script and bginfo just after the first script ended..
I understand your point, but thinking to implementing it I see a big development time to reach a result that just today is available passing through a file..
Thanks!

Yeah I guess that is an option. As there have been some recent updates to BGInfo I was just hoping adding support for powershell might be on the cards :-)
