Continuous Section Breaks converting themselves into Next Page Section Breaks RRS feed

  • Question

  • I inserted a Continuous Section Break a few lines beneath the first page header, since I wanted a different header on subsequent pages and my plan was to go into the second section I'd created and unlink the header from the first page. However, even though I selected Continuous section break, and that's what it read initially when I placed it in the document, after I scrolled down the page the section break converted itself into Next Page section break and gave me a page break I didn't want. I am in Word 2007. Any ideas? Thanks.
