Windows 7 Ultimate 64 sleeps but will not wake. RRS feed

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64 sleeps but will not wake until 2 reboots. Keyboard, network and boot freeze issues. Tried all support suggestions. Power options no change.  Motherboard M4A89GTD PRO/USB3, Amd Phenom II x4 965, Liquid cooling.

  • Hi,

     

    Regarding the issue, I suggest updating all possible device drivers, chipset from manufacture's site first. After that, please enable Mouse to wake up computer.

     

    1. Click Start, type Device manager in the search box and press Enter.

    2. Click on keyboard, it will display your Mouse, right click and go to properties.

    3. Select Power management.

    4. Check Allow this device to wake the computer.

     

    If the issue persists, please check event log for detailed information.
