SharePoint 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi this is a very long shot. We had a legacy 2007 SharePoint server that actually had some critical data in it. The server that it was on died and I have had to build a new server.

The issue is that when i restore the database i get the error

The schema version ( of the database WSS_Content on <ServerName> is not consistent with the expected database schema version ( <ServerName>.
Connections to this database from this server have been blocked to avoid data loss.
Upgrade the web front end or the content database to ensure that these versions match."

I have tried to Insert the data from the restored database to the one created on the new Site (Still MOSS 2007) but i get error

Insert Error: Column name or number of supplied values does not match table definition.

So does anyone have the patch that will update the Schema? Or can suggest how i can get the data out of the SQL databases.
