  • Question

  • I have two Drafts folder in my Outlook. I can delete one if them (only one of them can be deleted), but after restarting Outlook, the duplicate one will come back. Any thought?

  • Hi,

Which type of email account are you using? Exchange, IMAP or POP3?

After deleting one of the Drafts folder in Outlook, we may try to perform a manual send/receive or update folders and then see whether this duplicate Drafts folder will add back again.

Do you see multiple Drafts folder if we log onto the webmail interface of your email account? If you can see the duplicate one in webmail, just try to delete the duplicate one from within webmail and then see whether this issue continues.

Besides, we can also try to start Outlook with /resetfolders switch which will reset all your default folders, then see whether this could fix the issue. To do this, exit Outlook first. Press Win key + R to open the Run command, type outlook /resetfolders and press Enter.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
