The company that I work for is looking to test out App-V. We have never used App-V so this is our first time with testing it.
I have gone through and installed App-V on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise. It is a development system and the install seems to have gone through successfully.
I am going through the process of installing the App-V client 4.5 and immediately on the install, I am getting an error Error 25001.Microsoft Application Virtualization Client for Terminal Services required Terminal Services is installed on the system. I checked the services that are running on the desktop and terminal services is running. I have also made sure that remote assistance is enabled.
Basically, we were informed that we needed to install this app-v client in order to be able to access applications that will be mounted on the app-v server.
