Secondary DPM 2012 SP1 Errors 917, 943, 999 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm running a secondary DPM Server offsite, and for the past few weeks I've had a lot of trouble keeping the backups up to date. If I try to run a consistency check on too many items, say 5, it'll throw a 917 at me and generate a 999 with:

An unexpected error caused a failure for process 'DPMAMService'. Restart the DPM process 'DPMAMService'.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to have to rebuild my secondary DPM server if I can avoid it. If you need additional information, just let me know and I'll get it posted ASAP.
