Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) "Allowed" a severe threat instead of a "Removed" action RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can I remove/delete a detected, severe level Trojan file that MSE detected following a full scan?  MSE simply stated "Allowed" in the action column.    My browser is Mozilla Firefox, v. 3.6.13 and my O/S is Windows 7.   Every time I turn on my computer I receive a warning from a program entitled, "System Tool," that says there are 38 infections.  Microsoft says this is a fake program that is attempting to sell me an anti-virus application.   The name of the Trojan file is:  Rogue:Win32/Winwebsec      This is listed in the history portion of MSE along with other paths of adware and virus items (the latter have been "Removed" by MSE; but the Rogue:Win32/Winwebsec just says "Allowed" in the action column.

    Many thanks for any recommendations.
