Trying to restore my HP pavilion desktop using DVD's made from downloaded iso files RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently upgraded my laptop computer to  windows 8 and everything was going really well. I thought and still do this that windows 8 is the best ever with one exception.  I downloaded Microsoft Server 8 beta as an iso file on my laptop which is currently running windows 8.  I did  have any

issues with the downloads that either came as an .exe or a zip file.  It was after I try 4 different times to install the Server beta on my desktop, it began well and actually got as far as 25% of the expanding windows part in the installation process. But then it stops, and the error says the installation failed because there are missing files.  It wasn't until later that I noticed that there were several boot file on my laptop  desktop.

    How do I fix this.

  • Hello,

From where did you downloaded the win 8 beta? I think you should download it again and run the set up
