Configure ADFS 3.0 as IDP

Hello,

I have ADFS3.0 as Service Provider. I was asked to configure ADFS3.0 (not 2.0) as IDP for this ADFS SP.

I configured ADFS in windows 2012 server R2 (connects to AD). But not sure how to make that as IDP. Is there any "how to document" for this?

Requirement: ADFS3.0 IDP should be build to provide claims to ADFS 3.0 SP

If you want your ADFS to be used as an IdP by another one...

On your ADFS server, create a Relying Party Trust for the other ADFS: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn486828(v=ws.11).aspx
On the other ADFS server, create a Claim Provider Trust for your ADFS: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn486771(v=ws.11).aspx
