See which apps are affecting your battery life - powershell RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Windows has this nice feature to check which apps are affecting your battery life when a laptop is working on battery. The GUI is great, shows the data in simple readable way.

I am looking for a way to export this through powershell. I was looking at available wmi classes for this or registry information , but was not successful in this.

I will appreciate if someone can point me to the correct location.

  • Well i found that the dll C:\Windows\System32\SettingsHandlers_BatteryUsage.dll should be able to help me, but i cannot load it as reference in Visual Studio for some reason.

Not sure if matters, but it seems the functionality GUI is based on UWP.
