Upgrading sharepoint 2010 Timer job failure RRS feed

  • I installed sharepoint foundation 2010 SP1 , Sharepoint 2010 Server sp1 and Project server 2010 SP1 ,, configuration wizard failed with update 16.03%

    completed , I checked upgrade error I found the following :-

    Please If you face same issue , I would like to solve this proplem as its production server

  • Hi,

    I have not seen that specific error before, but I have had updates fail within the timer job.

    Usually running the wizard again, or the psconfig via the administrator command line fixes the issue. Have you tried re-running?

    Yes , I tried to run the configuration wizard many times with the same error , I didn't try to run psconfig from the administrator command line ,

    I will try and come back to you , also I need to know , what about that how can i delete a project site reference ??

  • I would say that Check the Web tables in WSS conetnt db & find the web id  90ab0eda-a991-4b09-907e-f3d27fc64150 & see the FULLurl & find corresponding project. If you dont have any data for this site, delete the same from PWA > Server settings, ONce complete, start the Sharepoint config wizard.
