Dynamics AX 3.0 vs Microsoft SQL Server 2005 RRS feed

    Sziasztok!

     

    A következő problémára szeretnénk megoldást:

     

    Adott 1 Dynamics AX 3.0, SP5 és 1 Microsoft SQL Server 2005, mindenféle Analysis Serverrel megfűszerezve, OLAP db létrehozva. Szeretném bellítani az AX ben az említett db-t, de az alábbi hibaüzenetet kapom:


    Method 'Connect' in COM object of class '{B492C386-0195-11D2-89BA-00C04FB9898D}' returned error code 0x800A0005 (<unknown>) which means: The connection string to repository needs to be specified in the 9.0 server properties (see <DSO>...</DSO> section in msmdsrv.ini file from Analysis Services 9.0).

     

    Utánajártunk a neten, de úgy néz ki, hogy a két termék nem nagyon kompatibilis mással ezen a területren.

    Supported platforms include:

    • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4 Update Rollup 1
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2
    • Microsoft Windows XP SP2
    • MDAC 2.8 SP1 (Client and Server)
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP4, 32-bit and 64-bit
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services with SP4
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 32-bit and 64-bit
    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP1, 32-bit and 64-bit
    • Oracle 9i patched to version 9.2.0.2

    Note that Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 Kernel Rollup 3 does not work with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services. If you are running OLAP and reporting with your existing implementation, do not upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services.

    Also note that Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 Kernel Rollup 3 is not supported with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard and Enterprise editions are supported.
