Normalization not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey All,

I have a situation where the normalization rules are not working when there is a "/" in the phone number (555/555-1212)

The normal (\d{10}) doesn't work. I tried to match it exactly with this : (\d{3})(\/)(\d{3})(\-)(\d{4})

This matches using an online regex checker, but Lync 2010 say nope.

    PS C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2010\Server\Core> .\ABServer.exe -testphonenorm "555/555-1212"
    args[1]: 555/555-1212
555/555-1212 -> failed to normalize number.
    PS C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2010\Server\Core>

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Rich

  • Agree with Holger, Not sure with other SIP Products but Lync does not resolve it.
