Windows Experience Index confusion RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've looked around alot at the forums and found alot of questions similar to mine, but none of them seem to be quite like mine.

I've just built my own computer and was running it for a while with the integrated graphics card (i have an intel DH61HO) the graphics portion of the index was at around a 5.5. I installed a Force3D HD 5450 graphics card and while the gaming graphics portion went up around .5 to 6.1 the graphics portion dropped to a 4.4.

I know people have said you don't really need to worry about this happening but dropping over a whole point seems like a lot. Should i be worried/try to fix this in any way?

  • The graphics went down because the intel chip is better than the HD5450.  Back 5 years ago the integrated graphics were crap but recently the integrated graphics are on par for anything less than $100.  You should of left it with the integrated graphics and saved your money.

Be kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.
