Exchange 2013 Transport rules RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi All,

    Scenario discription: Exchange 2013 CU3

Problem discription: we created two transport rule for mail forwarding.

    First requirement:

When the mail arrive from particular doamin for example "example" domain to any users in exchange 2013 organization a copy of mail should be forwarded to group of users.

the first transport rule configured as below:

We created a transport rule with  apply this rule if "the sender's domain" where we have put "example" , and the do the following we have put "bcc the message to " where we have put individual user ids.

    Second requirement:

When the user reply to mail (same doamin for the first rule created "example") that time also a copy of the message to be forwarded same group of users.

we have created a transport rule where we configure "a recipients domain is" and we put "example" and we have put "bcc the message to" where we have put individual user ids.

now the rule is working fine but there is a issue when mail arrive from the "example" domain for 10 number of users in the exchange 2013 organization. The users in the bcc list is receiving 10 time copy of the  same mail.

We require only one copy to be received.

  • If you get ten messages that match the rule, then rule will fire ten times.  There is no rule memory.
