Publish SFTP with UAG RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

Is it possible and if so, can anyone provide direction for publishing an SFTP server with UAG?

I'm essentially looking for direct proxy with no UAG portal authentication.

    Thank you!

  • UAG is a HTTP/HTTPS proxy. Even Microsoft pushed as VPN gateway for a while and TMG is underneath forwarding/publishing of anything else then HTTP/HTTPS is not supported, see also http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee522953.aspx. So technically you can access the TMG console and add rules to publish port 22 for SSH/SFTP but it is not supported from Microsoft.

    Hope that helps,

  • Thanks Lutz - I assumed that this was the case, but figured it was worth asking.
