  • do you remember if there is any changes before this issue happen?

did you able go to safemode?

do you have any user account at this PC, try to login with another user account, if you don't have try to create using command prompt

    net user username password /ADD

    example

    net user Jane h3rDy4 /ADD

if you are connected to specific domain, try to login without it

check also at Software restriction policies or app locker

Start - run - gpedit.msc - check: Software restriction policies or Applocker

Or check this link and applied troubleshooting

I suggest try first that iCals command

    cd /d c:\
    icacls * /T /Q /C /RESET

    good luck

I suspect you are going to need to do a system refresh but first I would try a system file check to at least find out what the problems are

Please run a system file check (SFC)

All instructions are in our Wiki article below...

  • Hi great gander,

We wonder if there is any luck your issue has been resolved.

In addition to what suggested by britishdhez. If you are in a domain and you are not administrator, you might need to check your permission or domain group policy settings with domain administrator on that issue first.

If you found your own answer for your issue, we would appreciate it if you could share with us so other user also can see it.

    Regards
