IE can't change home page without internet RRS feed

  • Question

  • when my computer is not connecting to internet, i can't change my home page(it always changes back), is that by-design? After connecting to internet, the issue is gone.

Haven't found any document about this.

    Thanks, Hui

A common symptom of interference by a user's security product.  Try making your change by booting in safe mode, testing the change in safe mode, e.g. rebooting in safe mode to confirm that it is sticking.  Only then try to go back to your normal mode boot.  Chances are that the security product would then make your new preference persist.
