counter strike 1.6 run problem with windows 7 home basic RRS feed

    i have win7 home basic 64 bits( 6.1, build 7600 ) 3 GB RAM , Display -ATI Mobility radeon HD 4570 (256  MB) {DELL STUDIO 15 with latest installed driver with Direct X 11}.
    i have brought it 2 days ago.

     i have to take part in The COUNTER STRIKE 1.6 events. and i m not able to run it.
     it shows a FATAL ERROR message " Available memory less than 15MB!!! - 1079136256"

    plz help me out

    Thanks for the post,

    It seems like running counter strike in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 may fix the issue.
    To do so,follow these steps.

    Run the application in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
    ========================================================
     Step 1:Right click on the application shortcut.
     Step 2:Click on properties.
     Step 3:Click on compatibility tab
     Step 4:Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
     Step 5:Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
     Step 6:Click OK and run the application

    Hope this helps.

    Looks like other people have hit this issue too.

    Right click on the shortcut, choose properties, compability, mark the Run this program in compability mode for:, choose Windows XP SP2.

    When I right click the counter strike shortcut, and goto properties

    no "compatibility" tab is available

    i have windows 7 home premium

    im not sure if tyhat would change anything

                when i click on counter strike 1.6 shortcut...... the game screen opens.................and on the screen i can see two counter terriorists as it should be................... bt then the content is not displayed.......like find severs create a server settings , etc.................. plz help me./.......................  plzzzzzzzz
