Error when trying to access sharepoint site

Hi,

I am having an issue with WSS 3.0 SP2 on SBS 2003. When trying to view the site internally or externally I receive an page that just says Error at the top. Below that is

An error occurred during the processing of /default.aspx. Unknown server tag 'SharePoint:ProjectProperty'.

It just started today and no updates were installed on the system. If anyone can help provide some insight into this it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

If this site have publishing feature enabled then check the master page for Microsoft.SharePoint dll registry and version.
check the dll version from assebly and make it same .

SBS 2003 is not supported in the SharePoint forums.

See this quote from my sticky post at the top of this forum

SBS 2003 and SBS 2008 users should either post to the SBS newsgroup at microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs (msnews.microsoft.com) or if they have Partner status to the Partners-only SBS forum here http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/partnerwinserversbs

There is also an EBS 2008 forum somewhere which might allow SBS 2008 questions.
