Running Hotmail in Outlook with Internet Restrictions RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi there,

I'm looking for what settings need to be set for a user to access Hotmail email in Outlook 2007. I have determined that it has to do with the Internet restrictions.

With the restrictions in place it comes up saying "the network connection has been interrupted, please try again later". If I remove the internet restrictions it works fine. So there's some setting or settings I need to remove/set to get it to go through properly.

I have all of the internet restrictions in place but I've added some websites to the allowable section.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Trkkr, can you access Hotmail via IE? You can add "mail.live.com" to Web addresses allowed and try accessing hotmail via mail.live.com.
