ADFS for Oracle Taleo and Office 365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have an ADFS server configured currently to provide SSO fro Orable Taleo. Can i use the same server to provide SSO for Office 365?

If yes how can i configure Office 365 with the same ADFS server, will the configuration steps going to change or I simply follow the standard steps like we do for Office 365?

My ADFS server is on Windows Server 2012 R2, ADFS server version is 3.0

  • Yes you can re-use the same AD FS farm, O365 will appear as an additional relying party trust. Prior to this you will need to make sure you have done the following:

    - Deploy AAD Sync/Connect

    - Add/Verify domain in O365

    - Update On-Prem UPN suffixes to match the verified domain

After this all you need to is use the msonline powershell cmdlets to convert the domain to federated on the AD FS server. If your AD FS servers sit behind a proxy that requires authentication, you may need to allow access to certain url's listed in the MS documentation.
