  • Hi,

    I am getting thousands of events for AppCrash_wmiprvse.exe on my Windows 2016 Server

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue and

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive

    is there a fix Windows 2016 Servers?

  • The error is an application crash. If you didn’t get any issue, you may ignore that event.

     

    If you want to perform the further research on the event, I would like to suggest that you contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Because we find it seems to be application crash issue and we need to analyze the crash dump file to narrow down the root cause of the issue. Unfortunately, it is not effective for us to debug the crash dump file here in the forum.
