How to do Time calculation for a subject in a notification email. RRS feed

  • I am looking at adding a time stamp onto the subject of my notifications.

    I know I need to put it into the template

    My goal it for the subj to read like this.

    Ticket #IR1111 is High Priority and has been open for 5.3 hours

    I know I can get the creation date

    $Context/Property[Type='CustomSystem_WorkItem_Library!System.WorkItem']/CreatedDate$

    and I know I my criteria I was able to use [now-4h]

    is there a way to subtract Now - creation date and put it into hours?

    any ideas of how to solve this quandary?

  • This is definitely impossible with standard notification. The option can be send notification using Orchestrator or pull data to some field before notification with custom workflow with this aproach.
