SBS2008: Directories/files to exclude RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello - my OneCare just expired and I'm now running FCS. One question - should I go through the list of directories/files to exclude as with other anti virus programs? I'm curious because the BPA tools for Exchange / SBS aren't finding this as an issue with the default configuration anymore ...

    Thanks
    Nick.

  • If you are using the FCS console there are ready made policy for Exhange and so, else you need to exclude all files

  • Yes, you need to make appropriate exclusions.

take a look at this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943556/sv

  • Yup, that's the one I had bookmarked already. The BPAs normally complained, so was curious if this was still needed.

    Thanks,
    Nick.
