  • Hi William,

You can use the Project Update option to calculate and update your planned % completed. Go to Project -> Update Project -> Update Work as Completed through (Status Date or Current Date).

This will update all tasks % complete as planned value.

  • I can see this turning into a long conversation, but here goes anyway.

A bit more explanation is going to be essential.

What exactly is it that you are hoping is calculated automatically?

What is a "baseline activity"? Is it a task which has been baselined?

You will probably need to explain how you go about updating progress and re-scheduling, but I can probably guess.

When you say "manually enter the percentage progress", does this mean that you type in a number into the % Complete field?

If so, where do you find this field? In the task information, or as a column in the tracking table, or as an inserted column in the entry table?
