Project Server 2013 - My Task unknow error RRS feed

  • In project server 2013  with sp1 When I click on the "tasks" link nothing comes back just a blank screen with the mesage  Unknow error.

    • Which browser are you using? 
    • Is it happening on all machine? For all users?
    • Do you have a complete blank page? Or can you see at least the ribbon whitout the task webpart below?
    • Can you check if the view in question hasn't been deleted?

    • Is it happening on all machine?  

                 No    

    • For all users?

            No, it´s happening with a few users

    • Do you have a complete blank page? Or can you see at least the ribbon whitout the task webpart below?

       I can see  the ribbon without the task webpart

    • Can you check if the view in question hasn't been deleted?

       The view has  not  been  deleted

  • This is the classic symptom of assignment corruption. Bad assignment date can cause the grid to fail.

  • Hi Marylu,

    I agree with Gary; this usually is caused by the assignment corruption. I just recently run into an issue where only the published data (assignments) was corrupted and the solution was to the delete the published version of the project and re-publish.

    Do you get any errors in the queue log when publishing certain projects? I would also check the projects the users getting the error work on (maybe all these users are working on a particular project that may be corrupted)
