Windows Home Edition Rebooting With Blue Screen RRS feed

  • I would like to ask that someone at Microsoft provide a fix for my new PC rebooting numerous times per day...sometimes 2 minutes apart, sometimes a few days apart.

    It does not appear to be hardware or my software related.

    I have contacted the manufacturer of this Toshiba Satellite and their "tech" help wants me to scrub my hard drive and start over.  Their behaviour and Microsoft releasing unstable software is unacceptable.

    This can be a kernel mode crash issue. Generally it occurs when a driver tried to access an address that is pageable (or that is completely invalid) while the IRQL was too high.


    To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum.
