Administrative Privledges without having to log the standard user out on XPpro RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've just installed a Server 2008R2 box and updated to a Domain for about 20 computers.  They are a mix of XPpro, Vista, and 7 computers.  If a standard user on a XP box needs to update Java or a Flash player, I always have to have the standard user log off, I have to log in (being an administrator), do the update / install, log out, and then they can log back in.  Windows 7 just asks for an administrator to give the authorization without the standard user ever having to log out.

How do I get the XPpro systems to do the same????

    Regards,

    Joe
