Files don't open to full screen view RRS feed

• Question

• Our company purchased several new computers that have Windows 7 and most of us are experiencing the same problem. In various programs, including Explorer, when double clicking a file to open it, it doesn't appear to open. However, if you click that programs button on the Taskbar the file is there. Often clicking the file from the Taskbar will open the file, but sometime you have to minimize the program and then click in the Taskbar. Sometimes the file is clicked several times in an attempt to open, only to find it is open multiple times in the
Taskbar.

This is very time consuming problem and very aggravating.

• Hi,

Based on my knowledge, it seems that the window opens up in off-screen than the current screen.

Therefore, please try the following:

1. Open a window which you cannot see on your screen.

2. Press “Alt” + “Space” on your keyboard.

3. Press the “M” key on your keyboard.

4. Press an arrow key once.

5. Now, please (without clicking any button) move the mouse to make the window appear on the screen.

If issue persists, you can test the issue in Safe Mode and see how it works.

Hope this helps.
