Duplicate Email issue via OWA


  • Running Exchange 2010 with SP2 RU3. I have one user who get duplicate email from one user regularly. I checked sender is using OWA not Outlook. When I checked the message id's all are different with different time stamp, with 1-2 minute difference between each message.

    I also move user to different DB still same issue, then i moved  both user to different server in different site altogether, just to rule out server issue. Still no luck.

    If someone seen this issue and has any solution, let me know. If you need more info, please let me know that too.

  • do you know if mobile devices are involved.

    Also do you have AV exceptions configured on HubTransport?

    In order to narrow down the cause, I’d like to ask the following questions:

    1.Do other users come across the issue?
    2.Does the issue still exist if the user send emails through Outlook?
    3.Does the issue still exist if the user change another browser to logon OWA?

  • No other user facing this issue. It looks to me issue with PC. Asked team to change user pc and see if that fixes the issue.
