Safely remove trusted application pool on Lync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I merged topology between Lync and OCSR2, that added a trusted application pool for CWA, for example, cwa.domain.local

I need to know if I can remove it using Remove-CsTrustedApplicationPool without affecting the CWA Server, the OCS deployment at all.

I need to remove it because of a fqdn conflict with another server I need to add to the topology.

    Thanks

    Two things:

     - If you remove it, the CWA would break
     - I'd reconsider your Lync topology, beacause AFAIK Lync roles are not supposed to be collocated on the same server with OCS roles

  • Hi, it's not mine.

it's a mess the customer did... and I was called to fix it.

I do know that this is not correct.

    Thanks
