  • I keep getting this problem with SQL Server VM communication to the AD Server:

    Name resolution for the name interno.clicsistemas.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

  • Hi,
    It seems that no DNS server is available while SQL server communicate with DC. AD relies on the netlogon service, which relies on the DNS server
    Generally, we use AD integrated DNS zones to install DNS role on DC, in this case, please make sure that SQL server could ping DC, and point its DNS address to IP of DC, then run ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /registerdns command or restart netlogon service. Also it is recommended to have at least 2 DC/DNS/GC per domain for failover and redundancy reason.
