ACPI shows activity when disabled. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I disabled ACPI Compliant Battery in Device Manager to reduce DPC Latency, and then turned it back on to put the computer in sleep mode. When I accessed the computer later and tried to turn ACPI Compliant Battery off again in Device Manager, Device Manager says ACPI is disabled but LatencyMon shows it's working and causing latency. I'm on a 64bit Windows 7 Pavilion Dv6 Laptop. Why can't I disable it correctly again?

  • Hi,

Not sure how LatencyMon works, and considered this is a 3rd party tool, please seek help in their offical website.

Regarding ACPI Compliant Battery information, please see:

    Thank you for your understanding

    Best regards
