Internet Options Icon Missing in Control Panel IE 7 Opens and Hangs Will not Open!! RRS feed

  • I have Windows XP SP3.

    I thought I would try the new Beta IE 8. Un fortunately it

    was a little to much of a hassle. I uninstalled it and tried to re-install IE 7 it goes throught the whoale set up tells you you need a restar. Did all the and rebooted. It finalized the settings. I again

    tried to connect to the internet and IE7 opens and then just hangs. It eventually disapears and asks if

    I want to send an error report.

    APPNAME: IEXPLORE   APPVER 7.0.6 MODNAME: MSVERF.DLL

    MODVER 7.026000.5512    OFFSET 00036FA3

    THERES A LOT MORE BUT IT IS ON MY LAPTOP AND i AM SENDING THIS WITH MY DESKTOP.

     

    Anyways when I go to the control panel there is no listing or icon for Internet Options.

     

    Help!!

  • So where is it, where is the internet options icon in the control panel, or will I too get a directed to something less than the simple answer? People don't want to spend hours reading material that reads like a book just to find one answer. May be as an mvp, you are comfortable making the cost of doing business tedious, lengthy and expensive, but I don't appreciate reading posts that fankly don't answer the question.
