Create User Folder after creating the user (Single server W/O AD)


  • I have a single 2008 R2 server and do not use Active Directory (this server is used for Remote Desktop).  I'm stuck adding users via the command line via net users. After creating the users, I must then further edit their account in the Server Manager (description, member of tab, environment tab, sessions and remote control tabs).  Then I have to copy a bat file to their folder, which doesn't exist until after the first log on.  

    Question 1:  Anyone seen a script to add users at the command line on server WITHOUT AD?

    Question 2: Is there a way to auto create the user folder without having to login as each user?

    Question 3: Is there a way to change the default info on the tabs for new users, so that when I create a new user the environment tab already has the information there.
