TCPView doesn't capture Windows Store network traffic on Win 10 x64 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I use Networx in my tray to show traffic use on my PC. If it is high and it shouldn't be then I fire up TCP View and see which program is downloading lots of data. Occasionally Networx is showing my connection is very busy but TCPView does not show any large downloads when I add "Rcvd Bytes" as a column and sort by the column. Win 10 Performance in Task Manager confirms that the connection is busy.

I suspect the Windows Store app does not show up in the TCPView list. I just installed a large piece of software from Windows Store as a test and my connection was busy in Networx and also Task Manager but this traffic was not showing in TCPView.

Running TCPView v3.05 and Windows 10 1809. This problem has been there since Windows 10 was released. Networx uses a LAN Filter Driver.
