    Hiya, I have Windows 7 Evaluation build 7100 running with a res of 1280 x 800 on my Toshiba Saterllite laptop, which is running fine for general use. I play World of Warcraft, and the res on the game is 1280 x 800 widescreen, which suports my laptop. because the game res is different from my desktop res, i get graphics glitchs. Is there a way to make my desktop do widescreen ?

    Hi,

     

    Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.

     

    Generally, we can right click the desktop==> Screen resolution to get the best display on your monitor. The resolution you can use depends on the resolutions your monitor supports. To configure the game resolution compatible with the desktop, you can go to the WoW folder and then into the WTF folder. Open the file named config.wtf using notepad and change the resolution.
