Outlook 2016 default land code contact phone number overrule RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

When adding a phone number, outlook takes the default land code from the region settings in windows. When adding a phone number with a different land code it's ok, untill you open the phone numbers again. Then it adds the wrong land code again + the land code previously entered.

    For example:

    Default landcode is +32

    We save the following number: +33 00 00 00 00

Open it again and it outlook makes the following: +32 33 00 00 00 00

That should not happen, I'm unable to find where to disable this 'option'.

  • Hi,

When adding a new contact, you could click the Business or Home option and then change the country code there. Will same issue occur?

Currently, I was unable to reproduce this issue on my Outlook 2016 1807.

Any updates, please feel free to post back.

    Regards,

    Perry
